As an Interaction Designer at IXDS, Kelvyn aims to create meaningful products and services through human-centered design and iterative rapid prototyping.
He is passionate about giving ideas form, and stepping into new complex topics for his projects. He has recently been exploring uses and implications of machine learning and artificial intelligence in several projects, both applied and speculative, in addition to ways of creating meaningful data visualizations.
Prior to working at IXDS, Kelvyn graduated from the interaction design program at the Copenhagen Institute for Interaction Design, as well as the InterMedia BA Program at the Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences, and the Prague Photoschool, Austria. In between his studies, he gained experience working at the Strukt in Vienna as well as codearts and Inscript in Innsbruck. Here, he designed digital interfaces, installations and event shows for both international corporations and startups.
Before seriously stepping into design, Kelvyn worked for several years as a software engineer. This means he is in the lucky position of having both a design and a technical background, which comes in handy when creating high-fidelity prototypes, and allows him to work across disciplines.
On his 5th day, Kelvyn enjoys hiking, exploring Munich, visiting exhibitions, cooking or planning the next adventure or project with his friends.
