Jie Ding is an Interface Designer at IXDS, responsible for shaping future human-machine interactions.
Jie is from Beijing, where she grew up and completed her bachelor’s degree in industrial design. With a passion for design, she came to Germany where she obtained her master’s degree in 2017 at the University of Applied Sciences, Dresden. During her master’s program she completed an internship at Deutsche Post DHL as a UX&UI Designer, and has experience working as an Industrial Designer.
Her aim at IXDS is to use her interdisciplinary design background to integrate the needs of clients and users with the possibilities of technology to create innovative solutions.
Jie is new to Munich. On her fifth day she enjoys exploring the city’s museums, exhibitions and cafés, soaking up the culture. She also enjoys being in nature and thinks Bavaria could be an ideal place to take up hiking or skiing.
