Fostering discussions about the future of work often leave out one key stakeholder: the talent of the future. The initiative therefore launched two open innovation challenges, putting out the call to a global crowd of young professionals to share their ideas and visions on what they want for the future of work.
Nancy was part of a jury and working group of corporate executives and international thought leaders who spent two intense, but exhilarating days building on the ideas of young professionals who submitted their future of work Concepts.
Some standout ideas included a "part office, part transit, part technology“ mobile work cubicle; revolutionary VR workflow tools; and an artificial Intelligence service used to fact-check a team’s decisions against their unconscious biases.
The experienced was described as "mind-boggling fantastic!" by those who were involved in the working group, which included the likes of Markus Albers, rethink; Christian Kuhna, AdidasGroup; and Sandra Blühdorn, Wired Germany.
The results were laid out in a preliminary report, which will be part of a larger manifesto. Get the full picture and see what’s next for this great initiative at: www.jovoto.com/initiatives/forework/ and www.jovo.to/work
