Pre-Work Talk Berlin Make Your Competitors Your Customers

Join us for our Berlin Pre-Work Talk on Tuesday April 9 where scrappel co-founder and CEO Matthias Spanic will answer the #IXDSCriticalQuestion: How do you build trust and security when your customers are also your competitors?

Global industries use digital and automated processes to streamline their day-to-day workflows. But until recently, logistics companies – especially those serving a niche clientele – were returning phone calls, sending loose emails and trying to chase partner job routes on the fly. All of that in addition to the complex task of actually finding skilled people to carry out the jobs at hand!

But in 2017, our guest speaker dove into the dark waters of the scrap metal shark tank, and completely remodeled and recast the players! Matthias and his co-founder Sebastian Kussatz built their intuitive, all-in-one solution scrappel, after conducting user research with potential customers and merchandisers. Addressing our fading trust in digital platforms, efficient material handling, confidential transactions, and client support are all integral to the founders’ and platform’s success.

But of course, as in any transformation, there are still-lingering doubts for those utilizing new processes. How can we meet customers eye-to-eye, while ensuring platforms have push and pull from all angles? Matthias will bring you up to speed on scrappel’s answers and share how they’ve used a single platform to turn thousands of analogue competitors into digital customers.

Come by at 8:30am for your morning cup of joe; Matthias will begin at 9am! We look forward to seeing you at our studio on Paul-Lincke-Ufer 39/40.
